Saudi Crown Prince Backs Sudan’s Unity, Stability During Call with Burhan
According to reports, bin Salman emphasized Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to Sudan’s stability, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity

He also reaffirmed the kingdom’s “support for all efforts to achieve stability in Sudan in a way that would pave the way for comprehensive development and enable displaced people and refugees to return to their homes.”
Sudan has been embroiled in a conflict between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) since April 2023. The fighting began amid a dispute over plans to integrate the RSF into the country’s military structure.
The prolonged conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and forced around 13 million people from their homes, according to UN and international estimates.
